Queenswood athletes recorded impressive victories at the Schools East Region Biathlon, held during the October half term.

U16 Girls

• Jess Hurley (Year 10) 1st overall – East Region U16 Biathlon Champion.  

U13 Girls

• Ellie Gilmore (Year 7) 2nd
• Mia Greig (Year 7) 3rd
• Megan Langley (Year 7) 8th 

Jess, Ellie and Mia have recently learned that they qualify for the National Schools Championshipss at the Olympic Park in March. Rebecca Hurley (Lower Sixth) unfortunately had to withdraw with shin splints but presented herselfas a great team manager and chief cheerleader for the group!
