Queenswood Badminton – a weekend of success

Queenswood’s Badminton players enjoyed great success in a range of competitions on the weekend of 12-13 November.
On Saturday 12, at the Royal Masonic School Invitation Doubles, our U16 pairing of Lia Di Gesaro and Mia Fuell (Year 11) were outright winners, while the U18 duo, Gretchen Kwong (UVI) and Charmaine Ng (LVI), achieved third place.
The girls were in action again the following day at the Herts Schools Singles, where Queenswood achieved a clean sweep in the U18 Cup and Plate competitions. Gretchen was placed 1st overall and Lia 2nd, while Charmaine was the Plate champion and Maddie Bullman (Year 10) was the Plate runner-up. Meanwhile, Perry Sun (Year 9) was a semi-finalist in the U15 competition.
