On Tuesday 2 December theU14 and U16 Badminton Teams represented Welwyn and Hatfield in the County Round
of the National Badminton Tournament.

There was some tough opposition and a
high standard of play. Despite this we are delighted to announce the following:

have now qualified to represent Hertfordshire in the Regional round at the end of
the spring term. The team will be working hard in training, hoping to become the first ever Queenswood team to reach a National
Badminton Final.

Royal Masonic Elite Players Doubles Tournament

On Thursday 4 December our top four Badminton players
were invited to take part in the RMS Elite Players Doubles Tournament. Each school
nominates their four best players regardless of age. Both pairs played really well. Gretchen
and Natalie reached the final, beating players from North London Collegiate,
Northwood, St Helens and Royal Masonic on the way.  After a great match
they were beaten into runners-up position.
