Queenswood School pupils, in collaboration with pupils from Mountview Dance School Ltd, have kindly donated unwanted ballet uniform to send to underprivileged areas in Africa.

Miss Christian (Q ballet teacher) has a contact at Nova Grace Productions, an organisation that runs initiatives, performances, outreach classes and ballet training, providing all types of dance opportunities to those who many not otherwise experience dance in Uganda, Kenya and Nigeria.

She is delighted to have been able to co-ordinate the following to be parcelled up and sent:

• 22 pairs of pink ballet tights
• 12 pink cross-over ballet cardigans
• 1 character skirt and character shoes
• 34 ballet leotards
• 2 ballet skirts
• 1 pair leggings
• 11 elastic waist belts
• 2 pairs pink ballet socks
• 30 pairs of pink ballet shoes
• 1 pair of pointe shoes
