On Wednesday 12 October two Year 11 teams travelled to Haberdashers’ Aske’s School for Girls to
take part in the Junior Parliamentarian Debate.  The teams were made up
of Ella Dutton, Georgia Mohamed, Aoife Morgan Jones and Lydia
Partridge.  Toluwa Agboola,
Year 12, also accompanied the group to provide support and to share her
experience. 

Each team participated in two debates: one pre-prepared and
one motion given on the night which tested their ability to organise
information quickly as well as their ability
to argue their points verbally.  Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the verbal
sparring and the Queenswood girls gained in confidence, as well as
ability, during the evening.  Well done to everyone who took part.
