The Year 11 and 12 MUN team attended Felsted School’s 9th annual Model United Conference on Sunday 25 and Monday 26 February.

Representing China, they took part in some high quality and controversial debates on topics such as cancelling the 2022 Qatar World Cup due to poor worker rights, and what to do during the outbreak of a fictitious disease – CX56 – that was disproportionally affecting women. Solutions to this problem included developing artificial wombs and sending ‘good’ humans into space!

Aoife Grant-Stevenson (Year 11) won a ‘commended delegate’ award for the quality of her debating in the Human Rights Committee.
