We are thrilled to announce that Amber Smith (Year 10) has been selected to represent Great Britain at U17 level.

Amber (above right) is just 14 years old, and has been training for several years with the Paul Davis Fencing Academy. She is the first female fencer from the academy to make the national squad.

This is a tremendous achievement, and caps a wonderfully successful year for Amber, with medals at both the East of England Championships and the British Youth Fencing Championships.

Her first international tournament will be the Cadet Circuit event in Godollo, Hungary in October.
