We would like to congratulate all the girls involved in the Junior Netball Tour to Condover Hall on the weekend of 13–15 March 2015.

They were magnificent ambassadors for Queenswood, and were determined to make the most of all the opportunities that were available to them – from testing their nerves on the high ropes and launching themselves into space from atop a 20 metre high free standing pole in the ‘leap of faith’, to excelling themselves on the netball courts.

 

Over the course of a day and a half, Queenswood’s five teams found themselves playing older and much more experienced teams from across the UK but with huge spirit they proved themselves to be creditable opponents who grew with each match.

The most impressive aspect of the tour was how the girls learned from every game so enabling them to develop specific skills and strategies of play that will continue to serve them well long into the future.

Special congratulations should go to the Year 9 team who fought their way to the semi finals where they finally lost 8-4.

This was the first netball tour for Queenswood and all involved agree that it has been a fun and valuable experience that they can’t wait to repeat. Well done to you all.
