For the very first time Queenswood have won their regional heat of the UKMT Senior Team Maths Competition and will progress to the National Final, which will take place in London on 7 February 2017.

This was a fantastic achievement by the team as they beat stiff competition from twenty other local Sixth Forms, including St Albans High School. They did particularly well in the relay round where quick thinking saw them earn bonus marks.

Congratulations to Phyllis Peng and Yuying Liu from the Upper Sixth, who managed to fit in preparation with a busy schedule including Oxford entrance tests, and to Candice Lyu and June Dong from the Lower Sixth who are both in their first term at the school.
