Queenswood Piano Competition – Results

The ninth annual Queenswood Piano Competition was held on Wednesday 8 February. Our adjudicator was the international soloist and chamber pianist James Kirby.
James, who was an instrumental teacher here at Queenswood for over fifteen years, conducted an after-school masterclass with the finalists. He was extremely impressed by the sensitivity and musicality of the girls’ performances.
The girls gave a superb recital in the Ernest Read Hall in the evening.

Beginners’ Class

- Highly commended: Michelle Rhys and Lily Harwood

Intermediate Class
- Highly Commended: Perry Sun and Colette Bacon

Advanced Class
