We send our huge congratulations to Miss Bassett and sincerest thanks to everyone who so generously contributed to last weekend’s ‘No Child Left Behind’ fundraiser for Noah's Ark Children’s Hospice.

The Queenswood community raised a staggering £12,961 for Noah’s Ark in a 36-hour window between 10am on Sunday 3 October and 10pm on Monday 4 October. During this time, all donations were matched by Noah’s Ark’s phenomenally generous benefactors.

This will secure our sponsorship of part of the hospice's new sensory trail – the Whispering Wood – and will provide a magical outdoor experience for children staying at the Ark.

Miss Bassett completed the marathon in under four hours – the goal she had set herself in training. She also raised over £1,900 in sponsorship for Noah’s Ark. We are incredibly proud of her efforts and the amazing role model she is for our pupils.
