MISS CHLOE BASSETT, HEAD OF YEAR 8

On Friday 10 March, Charity Prefect Ella T, Sixth Former Grace P, Reverend Vindra and Miss Bassett visited the Noah's Ark Children's Hospice in Barnet. We were given a tour by Laura Grundy, the hospice's Community Engagement Officer, and were delighted to be shown the sensory room, creative room and hydrotherapy pool area. We also visited the sensory garden, where we explored the Queenswood Whispering Wood - a beautiful part of the sensory trail made possible by the School's fundraising last year.

All of us were blown away by the building and the amazing calmness that it brought. In addition to the money raised from Miss Bassett's and OQ Bex Hurley's recent Paris Half Marathon, we were delighted to pass on a cheque for £689.00 – funds raised by our recent Tennis Festival. We look forward to continuing our support for this fantastic charity and strengthening our very special relationship with them.
