It’s a week since our Tennis Team flew out to Recife, Brazil to represent England at the World School Championships. They spent the first few days acclimatising to the heat and humidity, getting in plenty of crucial practice sessions, meeting the representatives from the other competing nations, and giving press and TV interviews.

Now the real business of the competition has started, and it’s fair to say that it couldn’t have gone any better for Queenswood. Our team of Georgie Walker (captain), Lilli Wiedenmann, Lexi Peet, Charlotte Tatham and Bella Moen have already beaten Italy 3-2 and Brazil 5-0!

 

Tonight they face China – the last group match before the Quarter Finals stage.
