Queenswood’s Tennis team, silver medallists at the 2013 World Schools Tennis Championships in Australia, were presented with the award for Outstanding Achievement in Schools Sports at the annual Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council Awards on 13 February.

Corinne Blythe, Molly Reed and Becky Smaller were honoured to be joined at the ceremony by Cathie Sabin, President of the Lawn Tennis Association, and were interviewed for Jack FM. Katty Weymouth was not able to attend on the night as she was playing in the final of the Kenyan International Tennis Junior Championships.
