On Tuesday 6 December the U14 and U16 Badminton teams took part in the County Round of the National Schools Badminton competition (the largest national school sports competition in the UK).

Competition was tough, with 12 teams in each age group representing their district. Both teams qualified for the semifinals. Unfortunately the U14s lost by just one point but went on to with their third/fourth playoff to win the bronze medal.

The U16s won all section games and their semi-final. The final was a re-match versus Presdales, which Queenswood won by a convincing 4 games to 1.

The U16s will go on to represent Hertfordshire at the Regional finals in March.
