Queenswood’s Hispanists practise their skills in Sanlúcar

The trip to Jerez during the October half term, which has now taken place for seven consecutive years, was a great success.
The girls were quick to blend in at the schools
where they were helping out, and started using their Spanish immediately. The lessons in the
afternoons helped them consolidate their grammar.
Lunch was enjoyed by all at local restaurants, and this year we were
lucky that the hotel cooked dinner specially for us and we were able to
taste traditional dishes.
The links with Top English Academy and with the local schools allowed
the girls to become immersed in the language and the lifestyle, and they all returned to England feeling more confident in their language skills.
