Members of Queenswood’s Science Department have been engaging with pupils at Essendon C.E. Primary School, as part of an ongoing outreach programme.

Last week, Miss Smith (Head of Science) visited Harefield class to investigate how we can demonstrate that light travels in straight lines using experiments.  The students had lots of fun making templates, predicting the patterns these might make using their scientific knowledge and then checking their predictions via experimentation.

This week, Dr Vincini helped pupils to make their own periscopes.
