Sports Scholar Peace Akinyemi (Year 11) has just received some thrilling news from England Netball.

She has been selected to represent her country at U17 level at the upcoming Netball Europe Cup in March, where she will face Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Switzerland. The squad is made up of only 12 players, so to be one of the top dozen netballers in the country at this age group is an incredible achievement and we are very proud of her.

Peace looks set to win her first caps, an achievement for which she has worked incredibly hard over the years. She came agonisingly close to joining the squad in 2019, reaching the top 14.
