Staff Appreciation Day is all about showing our appreciation not only for our teachers, but all the members of staff at Queenswood that work tirelessly behind the scenes. I would like to encourage the students to make sure to thank staff, not just on the 14th, but every day, by showing kindness and respect - whether that’s by saying please and thank you, holding doors open, or simply acknowledging their hard work. Small gestures can make a big difference, and this is a great opportunity to show our appreciation!

On Friday 14 March students can take part in the following activities to show their appreciation to staff:

Sweet and Cookie Sale 
In the Terrace Room at break and lunch. Students will be able to buy sweets and cookies to be delivered to their teachers with a little label saying who from. All proceeds will go to Noah's Ark charity. Both cash and card will be accepted. There will also be a few other gifts such as little hand made bags and keyrings for the students to buy for their teachers too.

Origami Flower and Thank You Card Making 
At break and lunch in the Terrace Room.
Students can make origami flowers or thank you cards for their teachers to show their appreciation.

Fun Fact Hunt 
There will be teacher’s fun facts placed around the school grounds, students can find these and accurately match them up with the teacher to win a prize and learn more about their teachers!

Baby Photos Quiz
In tutorials the girls can do a kahoot of their teachers baby photos!
