Queenswood fencers enjoyed great success at the British Youth Fencing Championships held at the Institute of Sport in Sheffield over the May bank holiday weekend.

Over 2000 fencers who had qualified from their regional championships were competing to become national champion.  Queenswood results were as follows:

• U14 Girls Sabre
  Anya Mehta - 24th
• U16 Girls Sabre
  Amber Smith 6th
• U18 Girls Sabre
  Kaya Smith 7th
• Meghan Pick 14th

Medals were awarded to fencers who placed in the top 8.
