The Home of Discovery: Visit The Francis Crick Institute
Friday 10 June 2022
Situated just outside London St. Pancras station, The Francis Crick Institute is an independent charity, established to be a UK flagship for discovery research in biomedicine. It is home to 1,500 scientists and support staff working collaboratively across disciplines to understand the fundamental biology of health and disease.
In addition to scientific seminars, lectures and symposia aimed to share knowledge with the scientific community, the Crick also hosts a vibrant programme of events and exhibitions which are open to the public.
At Queenswood, we encourage our students to be curious learners, to think critically and to keep abreast of current news and scientific developments. Students may wish to find out more about the exciting work undertaken at the Crick by attending their Discovery Day this Saturday. The event runs from 10am until 4pm and attendance is free.
