Could it be the terrifying Woman in Black, the eponymous phantom from the novella by Susan Hill?

Or, as some suspect, is it actually Hattie S (Year 9) in fiendish disguise?

Whatever the truth, the incident certainly caused pupils to jump out of their seats in fright!
