Tycoon in Schools 2022: ‘Tote It’ to Launch on 21 February

Next half term, a group of enterprising Year 12 students will launch a business selling customised tote bags, as they participate in the Tycoon in Schools competition.

Our main goals are to raise awareness for sustainability by educating our customers and encouraging them to use our reusable product instead of plastic bags, as well as making our customers’ daily lives a little less frantic. Tote It will start trading from Monday 21 February. They will launch a website as soon as they receive their loan from the Peter Jones Foundation. In the meantime, you can find them on Instagram and TikTok (search for the handle @tote_it_).
Tycoon, founded by Peter Jones of Dragon's Den fame, is a unique national enterprise competition for students aged 6 to 18. Every participating team writes a business plan, is lent money, starts a business and trades, competing with other student companies through a kickstarter -style platform, in a safe and controlled environment.
