We are delighted to announce that Queenswood’s U13 Hockey team were runners-up at the County round of the National competition on 25 November. They will go on to represent Hertfordshire at the East of England Championships in March.

The team were unbeaten in the section matches and won their semi-final versus Hockerill on penalties. Reaching the final, they were already sure of their place at the next round.

Unfortunately they lost 3-0 in the final to Bishop’s Stortford but played well, showing huge improvement since last year when the deficit to Stortford was double figures!

With a couple more months’ work we feel the team have a great chance at East and hope for a place at National finals.
