In last week's newsletter we reminded our students in exam years to look after themselves and to take a break from their revision when they need to. It's important for all students to relax after a busy week and immersing yourself in a good film is a great way of staying present and 'parking' any worries you might have for a short while.

You will see from the short video above, that watching a good film at the cinema along with the rest of the audience, rather than individually on a laptop at home, is proven to elicit a stronger emotional response - often leaving us feeling elevated and energised.

With this in mind, why not head to the cinema this weekend and enjoy a film with friends or family? If you are now on study leave and not seeing your friends in the week, you could even go for a bite to eat beforehand and have a catch up. There are some great films currently showing at the cinema and you will find our suggestions below.
