The weather is scheduled to brighten this weekend, but if you plan to spend some time indoors, you might like to try your hand at creating a piece of altered magazine art.

Using magazines that are no longer needed, find an image that interests you - matte magazine imagery works best for decorating. Cut out your image and then paste it into a journal, scrapbook or on to a piece of paper. You can then get creative with pens, acrylic paints or oil pastels etc. and turn the picture into your own masterpiece.
