Weekend Fun: It’s Beginning to Feel a Lot Like Christmas…

Friday 26 November 2021

Is it just us or are you feeling like Christmas has come early this year too? Maybe it's because last year's restrictions meant that some of our celebrations were put on hold, but this year we are already excited for the festivities to begin!

From this weekend on, there are numerous Christmas events to enjoy in London if you are feeling festive. So don't get your tinsel in a tangle - enjoy some Christmas weekend fun! Here are our suggestions.

Skate at Somerset House

For our favourite winter experience, head to the capital and salchow in style! You don't need to be Torvill and Dean to enjoy this unparalleled skating venue with its 40ft Christmas tree, contemporary music and hot chocolate served by Hotel Chocolat.  It's a perfect 10.0 from us!

Christmas at Kenwood

If Hampstead is your stomping ground, why not visit the beautiful grounds of Kenwood House for some Christmas sparkle this weekend. As night falls, the magnificent grounds of this former stately home are transformed into an illuminated trail that invites visitors to step into a magical winter wonderland.  Dogs are welcome too.

Christmas Lights Bus Tour

Ding Ding! Why not hop on to a London bus and soak up the vibrant atmosphere of the metropolis this weekend. The Christmas Lights London by Night open top bus tour takes in Regent Street, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, Big Ben, The Houses of Parliament, Marble Arch, The London Eye and Tower Bridge. An expert guide will entertain you along the way as you are dazzled by the stunning window displays of London's iconic stores.

Winter Wonderland Hyde Park

Rides, games, spectacular shows, Santa Land, food, drink and shopping galore - what's not to love at Winter Wonderland! With free entry during off peak times, booking is essential.
