It was most heartwarming to see the beautifully wrapped collection of shoeboxes piled high in the Chapel on Monday 20 November, as Reverend Kate and Charities Prefect, Grace Y, received the students' donations for our Operation Christmas Child appeal. The 57 boxes were filled with an array of thoughtful and generous Christmas gifts including cuddly toys, fluffy socks, toothbrushes, bars of soap, toy cars and much more. 

Having been carefully loaded into one of our vehicles, this very precious cargo was delivered by Reverend Kate and Mr Cork, one of our Queenswood drivers, to the Welcome Break Service Station in South Mimms. Here the boxes joined other donations from our local area before being sent on to the appeal's organisers, Samaritans Purse for distribution to children around the world.

Reverend Kate and Grace would like to express their most grateful thanks to everyone who donated a filled shoebox or gave individual items to be included in one. Your generosity will be deeply appreciated this Christmas.
