Year 7 and 8 Bonding: Making Memories at Grittleton House
Friday 8 October 2021
This week girls in Stamp House have been taking part in exciting residential bonding trips.
On Wednesday, Year 8 returned from Grittleton House in the Cotswolds after three days of fun activities, including low ropes, bush craft, buggy building, adventure archery and an escape room - not to mention the night-time campfire singalongs!
As Year 8 were departing, Year 7 were arriving at the same venue, and they got off to a great start, with zorbing and rock climbing already ticked off by tea-time on the first day.
These bonding trips are so important for establishing firm friendships and encouraging pupils to step outside their comfort zones. Sadly we were unable to run our usual Year 7 trip last year, so we’re thrilled that the current Year 8 cohort have finally had their opportunity to bond beyond the school gates.
