This week, pupils in Years 7 and 8 completed a 2.6 mile or 1 mile TCS Mini Marathon during their PE lessons.

They were running to raise awareness and support for Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice – a remarkable charity that provides expert care to children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. Noah’s Ark offers specialist support to families across North and Central London, helping them make the most of every day they have together.

There were some impressive performances across the course, and it was great to see many students extending themselves beyond their set distance! Congratulations to everyone involved.

Mr Ward, Teacher of PE at Queenswood, will be running the London Marathon on Sunday, also in support of Noah's Ark. Having visited the Ark multiple times in the last few months, he has seen first-hand how appreciative the charity is of the effort and support Queenswood provide, and the impact our vital fundraising is making.
