Mrs New’s Year 7 English students have been learning about the infamous Cottingley Fairies photographs – skilful hoax images such as the one above, produced in 1917 by two imaginative young girls who went on to fool the world.

They have been inspired to create their own fake fairy photos, and we think you’ll agree that some of them are very convincing indeed!
