There are a few places remaining on the Year 8 and 9 trip to the Opal Coast in northern France, which takes place from 27 to 30 March 2024.

The visit will comprise a range of activities and cultural visits that we hope the students will find stimulating and enjoyable, including a visit to Boulogne-sur-mer, a chocolaterie, croissant-making at a boulangerie, exploring the town of St Omer (pictured above) with a treasure trail, cheese and snail tasting, and crêpe-making in the evenings.

Throughout their stay, the students will be encouraged to use their language skills in daily interactions in a variety of social situations which could include asking for directions or when interacting with native speakers throughout.
