Inspired by Dr Martin Luther King Jnr’s legendary ‘I have a dream’ speech, in Religious Studies Year 8 have been crafting their own speeches aimed at ending racial prejudice and discrimination.

We’ve put together a compilation of some of the highlights from their powerful speeches. Some students spoke directly to camera; others provided audio clips which we have illustrated with iconic images from the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s.
