In Religious Studies, Year 9 students are exploring the topic of Philosophy of Religion and the Department requested that Reverend Calvin Samuel give a talk on the topic of ‘Does God Exist?’ to the entire year group in the Theatre. 

Revd Samuel delivered an excellent overview of the Design Argument, the Cosmological Argument and the Argument from Religious Experience, along with insights into his own personal reasons for belief in God. The hour discussion passed quickly, as students not only listened intently but were quick to ask questions. 

The pupils clearly enjoyed this event, and we are very grateful to Revd Samuel who proved to be an excellent speaker.
