Inspired by her father, an amatuer artist, and following the enthusiastic teaching of Mrs Langley at Queenswood, OQ Karen Arnold (Mrs Ellam) enjoys many creative arts and crafts interests. These include painting with watercolours and acrylics, candle making and textile art using silks.

Since 2015, Karen has been turning her beautiful paintings into greetings cards which she sells to raise funds for charity. To date, the following charities have gratefully received donations from Karen for the sale of her cards:
