After an exhaustive process and having faced strong competition from a record number of competing schools, Queenswood are delighted to be celebrated as one of the Top 20 All Girls Schools for Cricket in the Cricketer Schools Guide 2021.

The Cricketer judging panel, assisted by England cricket star Lydia Greenway, selected the top twenty schools after a rigorous assessment of all entrants' facilities, commitment to cricket in the curriculum, fixtures programmes and coaching.

Lydia, a former Women's Cricketer of the Year winner, has first-hand knowledge of our passion for cricket at Q, as we became one of the first regional hubs for her Cricket for Girls academy in 2018. Since then, cricket at Q has gone from strength to strength, even though our summer 2020 fixtures were cancelled because of the Coronavirus pandemic. Our girls’ commitment to training, improving their skills and enjoying the game remained steadfast throughout the year, even when they were participating in lessons from home.
