The Hurley Cup is Back!
Thursday 3 March 2022
After a delay of three years, the Hurley Cup is back. This whole-school cross-country event, held in memory of a much-lamented Queenswood parent, is one of the highlights of the school calendar – and this year we are raising funds for our friends at Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice in Barnet.
On Friday 18 March, staff and pupils will complete a mile-long circuit through Queenswood’s beautiful campus in order to win points for their Houses.
For our elite runners, there’s the chance to challenge the Hurley Cup record time – an astonishing 5 minutes 40 seconds, set by a Year 8 pupil in 2019.
For those who prefer a more leisurely pace, we’re encouraging pupils to don fancy dress on top of their House colours, and make this year’s race an event to remember!
