Spanish
There are over 300 million native speakers of Spanish throughout the world and Spanish is the second most widely spoken language after English. Indeed, not only is it thriving in its traditional heartland of Spain and Latin America, but there are increasingly large areas of the United States where it is the main language.
All pupils study Spanish from Year 7, and many pupils continue to study the language as option at GCSE and A-Level. Lessons are conducted mainly in the target language, and all our teachers are native speakers. In addition, there are opportunities to travel to Spain to take part in cultural experiences and attend language lessons.
