Economics
Economics is a fascinating subject that provokes us to think about how and why things happen in our world. You will soon come to realise that many of the things that we do are driven by economic choice.
It is a very useful A-Level for those considering a career in finance, politics and law, or a managerial position. Economics is highly regarded by university admissions tutors as it bridges arts and science subjects and promotes an analytical and critical mind set.
As a subject Economics is normally categorised as a ‘Social Science’, and is often taught alongside Psychology, Sociology, Politics and Law. There are aspects of these separate disciplines within Economics itself.
