CHALLENGE 2:
Having Fun is a Serious Business

Who doesn’t like playing games? Whether it’s Charades at Christmas, playing netball at school, or on our PlayStation at home, most people love the fun and excitement that games bring.

Have you ever thought that there are people whose job it is to design and test games, and that having fun is a serious business for them?

Your challenge this time is to design a new game! We’d like you to make up something new and send us a drawing with instructions, or a short video of you explaining how to play it.

It can be something physical to play outside, like a game with a ball or other equipment, or you could design a board game, or perhaps puzzles are more your thing.  You can design whatever you like, as long as it brings joy to those who’ll play it.  To be in with a chance of winning £30 of Amazon vouchers, upload your new game here, and the most innovative game will be the winner.

PS: And talking of puzzles, here’s a Sudoku puzzle to inspire you, and if this is new for you, find out how to solve Sudokos here.  We’ll issue the solution to this puzzle when we announce the winners of this competition and as this part is just for fun, you don’t need to submit your completed Sudoku with your new game entry.
