Life Drawing Model (Self-Employed)

Queenswood School seeks an experienced Life Drawing Model to support our Art Department. The role involves modelling for life drawing classes, where pupils will study the human body. The successful candidate should be comfortable posing both clothed and in beachwear, not nude. The Teacher will refer to the body as part of the class and discuss pupil work in relation to this. The model will work in a practical studio environment with various equipment and materials.

Work would be on a self-employed, casual basis during the Autumn and Spring term (September – April) for 2 to 4 hours per term.

Hourly rate to be discussed at interview.

This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the artistic development of pupils at Queenswood School. In order to provide variety of form, we are particularly interested in hearing from female life models to join our current life model team. If you meet the criteria and are passionate about supporting young artists, we would love to hear from you.

As part of the application process the Head of Art at Queenswood would need to attend a life class you currently model in.
