Tennis Coach (Self-Employed)

This role carries a high level of safeguarding responsibilities. Full safeguarding checks will be carried out on the successful applicant. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020.
Queenswood has one of the largest clay court centres in the country with 12 fast dry American clay courts, 4 Astro courts with floodlights, further 9 Astro turf courts converted during Summer term and two multi-purpose acrylic indoor courts.
We are looking to recruit a reliable, enthusiastic, self-motivated and hard-working coach to work on our school Tennis Programme. The suitable candidate will mainly be working with beginners, school team players and small groups. Coaching hours can be flexible and work around current coaching hours at other clubs. The school has a great tradition of tennis and approximately 100 girls receive lessons and group sessions. We have an experienced team of coaches at Queenswood who deliver high quality school tennis coaching.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- LTA Level 3 or 4 Qualified Coach with Accreditation
- Current LTA Registration/Licence
- Proven experience in coaching groups for all levels of groups/individuals
- Proven track record in working with children possibly in schools and clubs
- You will be a team player, but also able to work on your own initiative.
- You must be able to offer sessions from 9-6.30pm (3.30-6.45pm are our most popular hours)
- You must be able to offer Thursdays 12 – 6.45pm and Fridays 9.30-4.30 with potential for this to increase
